As a shopping place visited by many people from different social position, Pasar Baru provides a facility for Moslems to conduct their ritual prayer (shalat) in the form of Masjid. The Masjid is located on the top of this eight-floors commercial building. The capacity of this Masjid which is named as Uswatun Hasanah is quite large. The main building can accomodate more than 200 people. When it comes to Friday Shalat, the northern parking space can also be used for shalat. At the moment, this Masjid are undergoing an expansion so that the northern parking space will be a part of the main building and surely will increase the capacity for supporting more than500 people.
The ablution facility for men and women are separated properly. For women, some bathrooms are provided. For men, while doing ablution, one can enjoy the view of southern part of Bandung city.
Because its location is on the top of 8-floors building, which is clearly exposed to open air, the visitor can have a pleasure of seeing the view of the city to all direction. Though that is very unfortunate for it is not much to see other than the crowded commercial and urban residence.
